Home Screen Page
The main page in Jellyseer is where users can discover new content, access movie and series requests, as well as manage issues or personal profile. Next, we'll detail the essential elements.
Side menu
Jellyseer offers a navigation menu on the left side, visible both on desktop and mobile. On phone, the menu adapts for a more compact experience.

Profile - Email Required
When entering the main home page, the system may display the message:
"Profile is incomplete. An email address is required."

This message appears in case the account created on Emby doesn't have an associated email address.
To be able to receive notifications related to requests and issues, it is mandatory to add an email address to the profile.

Why is adding email important?

- To be informed in real time about problem resolution
- Not to miss availability of new movies and series
Types of available notifications:
- Request Approved - you receive notification when your content request is approved
- Request Declined - you're notified when your request has been declined
- Request Available - you'll be informed when your request is available for viewing
- Issue Comment - you receive notifications when someone comments on an issue reported by you
- Issue Resolved - you're notified when the problem reported by you has been resolved
- Issue Reopened - you receive notifications if the problem you reported is reopened

Search and User Button
At the top of the page, Jellyseer offers two essential functionalities: search bar (Search) and user button (User Menu).

The search function allows you to find any movie or series, whether it already exists in the library, or you want to make a request for new content.
- You can enter the name of a movie or series that appeared anywhere on the internet
- If the title already exists, Jellyseer will show you details and viewing options
- If the title doesn't exist yet, you'll have the possibility to make a request for it to be added

Thus, Search becomes a very useful tool for bringing new content to the library and quickly checking what is available.
User Button
The user button (in the top right corner) gives you access to a personal menu where you find the following options:

- Profile - here you can update your personal information (name, email). It's important to add an email address to receive notifications about requests and issues
- Requests - section where you see all requests made by you, together with their status (pending, approved, declined, available)
- Settings - preferences and customizations related to your experience in Jellyseer. Here you can adjust notifications and other account-specific details
- Sign Out - option to log out of the current account
Through this menu, the user has access to all essential functions for managing account and their interactions with Jellyseer.
