Installing the Emby plugin on Kodi (Windows)
This tutorial shows you step by step how to install and configure the Emby plugin on Kodi, to watch content from your server.

1. Downloading the Emby plugin
Open a browser and access the download link for the Emby plugin:
Download PluginSave the file on Desktop or in Downloads
2. Downloading Kodi
- Open a browser and search Google for Kodi Download or directly access the link:
Download Kodi

- Download the application and run the installer
3. Installing Kodi
- Open the Kodi installer
- At User Account Control, press Yes
- Follow the steps: Next → I Agree → Next → Next → Install
- Wait for installation to complete
4. Enabling unknown sources
- Open Kodi and go to Settings → System → Add-ons (it will ask to allow plugin installation setting)

- Enable the Unknown sources option

5. Installing the Emby plugin from zip file
- Go to Add-ons → Install from zip file


- Select the plugin.video.emby-next-gen-dev-python3.zip file downloaded earlier (from Desktop or Downloads)

- A window will appear where you need to select Native (direct paths) - the application will restart itself

6. Configuring the Emby server in Kodi
- After reopening, the Emby window will appear - select Manual Add Server

- Enter the server data:
Host: emby.adelin.org (you can leave Port blank)
Alternative Host: adelinx.go.ro (with Port: 8920)

- Press Connect and connect with your Emby account

7. Setting up libraries
- Go to Settings → Libraries and select the desired libraries

- Press OK to start synchronization with the server

8. Navigation and viewing
- After synchronization, you can access movies and series from TV Shows or Movies
The tutorial is complete! Now you have Emby installed on Kodi in Windows and ready to watch content from your server.
