Installing Emby on Smart TV

This guide shows you how to install and configure the Emby application on Smart TV with Android TV.

1. Accessing Play Store on Smart TV

1. On the television, access Play Store from the main menu
2. Navigate in the application store

2. Searching and installing the Emby application

1. In the Play Store search bar, type Emby

2. Select the Emby for Android TV application
3. Press Install to install the application

3. Opening the application and scanning the QR code

1. After installation, open the Emby application
2. The application will open directly in the Emby Connect interface where you will see a QR code

3. Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code displayed on the television
   • You can use the Google Lens application or any QR scanning application

4. Authentication on phone and entering the PIN

1. After scanning the QR code, you will be redirected on the phone to the Emby Connect authentication page
2. Enter your Emby account username and password in the form surrounded in red

3. After authentication, on the phone you will see a blue field for entering the PIN
4. On television, look for the displayed PIN code

5. Enter this PIN in the blue field on the phone
6. Press the Submit button
7. If everything is correct, on the phone you will receive the message: "Pin configmad Thank you"

5. Finalizing authentication

1. On television, the application will automatically update and display the main Emby screen

⚠️ Important

If after the message "Pin configmad Thank you" nothing happens on television:

• Give restart to the Emby application on television
• Completely close the application and reopen it
• The application should now be authenticated and display the main screen

If authentication doesn't work the first time, repeat the QR scanning and PIN entry process.
