Accessing Emby through Web Browser
The Emby platform can be accessed directly from web browser without any additional installation.
1. Accessing the Emby server
To access the Emby server from browser, open one of the links:
- Main server: https://emby.adelin.org
- Alternative server: https://adelinx.go.ro:8920
2. Account authentication
After accessing the link, you will see the login page:
- Enter your Emby account username and password
- Press the Sign In button to authenticate
3. Navigating in the Emby interface
After authentication, you will be redirected to the main screen (Home Screen) where you can:
- Navigate through the library of movies, series and other content
- Access the favorites section
- Search for specific content
- Watch directly from browser
⚠️ Important - Browser Performance
Please note the following important aspects regarding using Emby in browser:
- Player in browser may work slower than in dedicated applications
- Browser is not optimized for Direct Play viewing and may force content transcoding
- Transcoding requires significant resources from the server
- The server is not equipped with high-end components for intensive transcoding
Recommendations for a better experience:
- For optimal viewing, use dedicated applications (Windows, macOS, Android, etc.)
- Browser is recommended for quick navigation and account management
- If you encounter playback problems in browser, try the dedicated application for your platform
Note: The web browser offers quick and convenient access to content, but for the best viewing experience we recommend using native Emby applications.
