How to reset your Emby password

To reset your Emby password, you need to consider some important information:

Resetting password for Emby Connect

Attention: Emby Connect and the account on our server are two completely separate systems.

• Sign in to PA Servers → uses our server's database
• Sign in to Emby Connect → uses the global Emby Connect database

This means that resetting password on the server doesn't change the password in Emby Connect and vice versa.

Prerequisites for resetting password on our server

• You must have an email associated with the account
  If you don't have an email associated, password reset won't work, because the system has nowhere to send you the confirmation link.

Steps for resetting password on our server

To reset password on Adelin's server, go directly to the official reset form:
Access the reset form

Follow the steps below:

1. Add the email associated with your account

Send the reset request:

• If you receive the message:
  "An email with the password reset link has been sent to your email address!"

• If you receive the message:
  "No account exists associated with this email address"

2. Check your inbox and open the email

Find the email and click the Reset Password button:

3. Choose a new password

Respect password conditions and click Reset Password:

4. Reset was successful

If you receive this message, your password has been reset:

• If the form shows the message "Invalid link. The reset link is invalid or has expired."

It means the link has expired. You need to repeat the reset process, meaning generate a new reset email and follow the previous steps again.
